dt trait designz originated in Mackay, Qld through the desire to create custom art 'fingerprints' for consumers. These artworks are cleverly crafted to create personal memorabilia pieces. Each drawing contains character traits, personal tastes, ancestry, and childhood memories – all in one design using symbolism and patterns.

As our business grew, we began to redefine our products to incorporate culture, spirituality, and story. We now feel we can monopolies a niche within the surface print art industry that is uniquely dt trait designz. Our little business has grown its clientele to include larger organisations such as BMA, Nulon, Royal Brisbane Hospital, and Donate Life – to name a few! We have gone from wall art to fabric designs, to office furniture.

Over time, we have realised that our products are of interest to customers ranging from families to big named companies and we like it that way. We want all to have the opportunity to own our designs and stories, from the 'humble' to the 'professional', as we ourselves have started from very humble beginnings.

For this reason, we have decided to sell our designs and stories on our website as 'one-off' original artworks for all who wish to own them. It's basically first in best dressed!
